1 year olds - what can I say? It's a darling age. I love how Sarah explores, tries to play with her sister, learns new things, reaches out for me, gets excited about taking more steps, kisses my lips with so much slobber, grabs my face, puts her head on my shoulder and acts shy around new people, plays peek -a-boo, laughs so loud when I tickle her, etc.
Sometimes I think my heart is going to burst with love ...
and then twenty minutes later, I feel like I'm going to pull my hair out!
It's a darling age and it's a hard age. Throwing dinner on the ground, screaming when we don't meet her demands quick enough, pulling on my pants while I make dinner, not able to entertain herself for more than 5 minutes, getting into everything, putting everything in her mouth, screaming when I can't pick her up 1 minute ago : )
Every moment isn't enjoyable but every moment is grace-filled.
And that is how parenthood goes.
It really does expose my impatience and every selfish bone in my body!
