... to try new things. First it was sewing and now it's tennis! John has been an avid tennis player since high school and even though he gave me lessons here and there, I never really learned to play. So, this past April I signed up for a beginner class at a local tennis center. I've been playing for sixteen weeks now and I only have one regret .... that I didn't start earlier! It's been a nice experience and new hobby (even though I did get a black eye after my first two weeks. FYI- don't hit yourself in the face with a racket : ).
We signed Anna up for a "Tiny Tigers" class that is offered at the same time as my class. It's been a fun summer activity for her. Maybe this will become a family sport?!?
And where did you put peyton?
ReplyDeleteWow! Way to go Pam. What an example to all of us. . . it is never too late!!
ReplyDeleteWe're a tennis family too...our son has kind of forced us to be! He started playing when he was 5...he's 7 now and wants to start playing in junior tournaments this fall. He'll probably play in the 10-12 age group. Your pictures are great!
