Today is my Dad's 70th birthday!

These are the things that my Dad has modeled for me.  My Dad's hardest working week was over 120 hrs (I know that doesn't seem possible but I'm not joking) and this is not b/c my Dad idolized work, but rather because sometimes he had to sacrifice a lot to provide for our family.  I am so grateful!  Even though he had some long working hours, He was always there for us.  I have great memories with my Dad ... family vacations, driving me around for my paper route, letting me ask him "one more question" when he tucked me in at night ... to name a few.  Now he gets to enjoy some advantages of retirement - more trips, seeing grandchildren, and finding unique ways to serve others. : )
