Happy Birthday, Mom!

Since my Mom is turning the 7-0 this year I thought I would highlight her birthday on the blog.  I know my Mom cringes everytime she hears "seventy," but since she hardly has any grey hair, no one suspects that she's gotten a year older : )

I'm thankful for my Mom.  She has lived and is living a remarkable life - not because of personal success/wealth, experiences, or acheivements that are honored by the world, but because of Christ and how He has worked in her life. She's been such a example to me of compassion for others, sacrifice for family, endurance in suffering, dependence on God, devotion to Christ, and joy in seeing others embrace the gospel.

Much love to you Mom!  Have a wonderful day and a great seventieth year!

John and I put together a slideshow for the party a few weeks ago.  Here are couple of the photos that we included.

Cute little girl!
